Eidos is the younger, hipper brother of luxurious Naples-based tailoring label Isaia. Helmed by Antonio Ciongoli (who even with his hyper-Italian name is actually American), the brand takes things like wide lapels and cascading spread collar shirts and turns them into totally wearable options for even the most style-wary of men. Lucky for everyone, the Italian suitmaker just got even more approachable for Spring-Summer 2016.
While often designers think the next step in their creative evolution is to get weirder or to turn up the volume on their signature pieces, Antonio went the complete opposite direction, hitting a hard reset on the color wheel. The result is suits that are in the utmost familiar colors, namely navy, grey, tan, and navy blue with pinstripes.
There was also a tuxedo on display—in the always welcomed midnight blue—for those more formal nights when you need something reliable but not boring to wear. And that’s just the thing with Eidos Spring-Summer 2016.
These suits may be familiar, but thanks to Ciongoli’s addition of interesting textures, each and every one of them is a certified head-turner.
